The new annual vignette is valid from 1 December 2024. ASFINAG Managing Director Claudia Eder explains: “It is and remains important to obtain a valid vignette in good time, regardless of whether you click or pick.”

If you want to ensure that the digital vignette is valid from 1 December 2024, you must purchase it online by 13 November at the latest. This is due to the statutory withdrawal period of 18 days for online purchases, which means that the vignette will only be valid after this period has expired.

Immediate validity for short-term vignettes

For short-term vignettes—the 1-day and 10-day vignettes—the waiting period does not apply; they are valid immediately when purchased online but can only be used from 1 December. The exact period of use can be specified at the time of purchase, but validity before 1 December is not possible. All short-term vignettes are valid from midnight to midnight on the selected day.

New prices for 2025

The vignette prices have been increased by 7.7 percent for 2025, adjusted to the harmonized consumer price index (HICP). The annual car vignette will cost 103.80 euros next year and 41.50 euros for motorcycles. The 1-day vignette will cost EUR 9.30 for cars and EUR 3.70 for motorcycles. The 10-day vignette costs 12.40 euros for cars and 4.90 euros for motorcycles. The 2-month vignette costs 31.10 euros for cars and 12.40 euros for motorcycles.

The vignette can be purchased in the ASFINAG toll store, via the ASFINAG app and at various points of sale such as the ASFINAG toll stations, ÖAMTC, ARBÖ, ADAC and some petrol stations and tobacconists.
